He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (The Prophet) frowned and turned away, 1 Because the blind man came unto him. 2 But what could tell you that per chance he might become pure (from sins)? 3 or have been reminded [of the truth,] and helped by this reminder. 4 As for he who thinks himself without need, 5 Unto him thou attendest. 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 But he who comes to you running, 8 And he fears, 9 to him thou payest no heed. 10 By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction: 11 so let those who want to follow its guidance do so. 12 It is contained in scrolls highly honoured, 13 exalted, purified, 14 borne by the hands of scribes, 15 noble and pious. 16 Woe to man! What hath made him reject Allah; 17 Of what thing did He create him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 Then maketh the way easy for him, 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 and then, whenever He wishes, He will raise him back to life. 22 Certainly, he has not duly fulfilled His commands. 23 Let man consider his food: 24 how We pour down rain in abundance, 25 Then split the earth in clefts 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and vegetables 28 And olives and palms 29 thickly planted gardens, 30 And fruits and fodder: 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening cry comes, 33 That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, 34 his mother and his father, 35 and his consort and his children; 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 Some faces will shine, 38 Laughing, joyous. 39 but some faces will be covered with dust 40 and covered by darkness. 41 those -- they are the unbelievers, the libertines. 42
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
