The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 Upon what sin was she killed for. 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 And when the sky is torn away, 11 And when the hell is kindled up, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 So verily, I swear by the planets that recede (i.e. disappear during the day and appear during the night). 15 the runners, the sinkers, 16 and by the night as it recedes, 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; 20 One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon. 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed. 25 Where then will you go? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Rolling (Al-Takweer). Sent down in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
