The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 And when the stars shall fall; 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild animals are made to go forth, 5 the oceans are brought to a boil, 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 And when the girl buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 and the night that falls, 17 and the first breath of morning. 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; 22 And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 25 So where are you going? 26 It is naught but a Reminder unto all beings, 27 To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, 28 but you shall not, unless Allah wills, the Lord of all the Worlds. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
