Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] 1 And when the stars shall fall; 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 And when the wild animals are made to go forth, 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 Upon what sin was she killed for. 9 and when the scrolls [of men's deeds] are unfolded, 10 And when the heaven has its covering removed, 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 And by the morning when it shineth forth, 18 Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, 19 Full of power, well-established (in position) with the Lord and Master of the Throne, 20 Obeyed one; then trustworthy. 21 And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; 22 And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon. 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 Where to are you then heading? 26 It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills – the Lord of the Creation. 29

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
