The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
WHEN THE SUN is shrouded in darkness, 1 And when the stars shall fall; 2 And when the mountains are made to pass away, 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations); 5 And when the seas are set afire. 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 And when hell is lighted, 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. 14 So, I call the receding stars to witness, 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 And by the morning when it shineth forth, 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, 28 Though you cannot desire except as God will, the Lord of all the worlds. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
