Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 noble recorders, 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 to burn therein. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
