Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Noble and recording; 11 They know what you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
