Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
