Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 Noble and recording; 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
