Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble, writers 11 They know all that you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
