Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 to burn therein. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
