Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
