Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 The honourable recorders. 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
