Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Illustrious scribes 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
