Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know all that you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
