Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 Honorable recorders, 11 who know what you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
