Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
