Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 Illustrious scribes 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Shattering (Al-Infitaar). Sent down in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
