Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 Honorable recorders, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
