The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to the defrauders, 1 Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full. 2 but who, when they measure or weigh for others, give less than their due. 3 Do they not realise that they will be raised to life 4 on a fateful Day. 5 The day all mankind will stand before the Lord of all the worlds? 6 No indeed, the Book of the immoral is in Sijjeen. 7 and what shall teach thee what is Sijjin? 8 A record [indelibly] inscribed! 9 Woe on that Day to those who belied it, 10 Those who deny the Day of Justice. 11 None belies it except every guilty sinner. 12 When Our Verses (of the Quran) are recited to him he says: "Tales of the ancients!" 13 No indeed; but that they were earning has rusted upon their hearts. 14 Nay! most surely they shall on that day be debarred from their Lord. 15 Then they shall roast in Hell, 16 Then shall it be said: This is what you gave the lie to. 17 However, the records of the deeds of the virtuous ones will certainly be in Illiyin. 18 And what do you know what the Record of the exalted ones is? 19 A written record, 20 Those who are drawn near (to Allah) shall witness it. 21 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 22 upon couches gazing; 23 You will recognize in their faces the brightness of bliss. 24 They are made to quaff of a pure drink that is sealed (to others). 25 whose seal is musk -- so after that let the strivers strive -- 26 for it is composed of all that is most exalting 27 a source [of bliss] whereof those who are drawn close unto God shall drink. 28 Those in sin used to laugh at those who believed, 29 when they passed by them they winked, 30 and when they returned to their people they returned blithely, 31 On seeing the believers, they would say, "These people have gone astray". 32 And withal, they have no call to watch over [the beliefs of] others... 33 So today those who believe shall laugh at the unbelievers; 34 On thrones, they will look. 35 Will not the disbelievers then be duly recompensed for their laughing at the believers? 36
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
