The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 by the Promised Day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 while they sat around it, 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
