The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 by the promised day, 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 Lo! [With glee do] they contemplate that [fire,] 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
