The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them). 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 Nay, but this [divine writ which they reject] is a discourse sublime, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
