The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
