The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
