The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 by the Promised Day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
