The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 by the Promised Day, 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
