The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 and by the promised Day, 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 while they sat around it, 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
