The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 By the Promised Day! 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 when they were seated around it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
