The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
