The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 when they were seated around it 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
