The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 And yet, they who are bent on denying the truth persist in giving it the lie: 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
