The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO witness the sky (bespangled) with the signs of the Zodiac, 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 and the Most Effective in His decision. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 Nay, but this [divine writ which they reject] is a discourse sublime, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
