The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 And what shall teach thee what is the night-star? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 Over every soul there is a watcher. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 Indeed Allah is Able to return him. 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 [man] will have no power, and no helper. 10 So I call to witness the rain-producing sky, 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are devising guile, 15 But I too am devising a plan. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
