The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 He was created of a gushing fluid, 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest, 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 I swear by the raingiving heavens, 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 And it is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are devising a guile, 15 And I secretly plan. 16 Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile). 17
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
