The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
