The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
