The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
