Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
