The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
