The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
