Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
