The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
