The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
