The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
