The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
