The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
