The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
