The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
