The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
